My Craft Nook

Sometime in December of 2013, I suddenly took a decision to finally gave in to a very long pending dream of mine, to craft. I guess sudden works, than a well-planned beginning of something. As far as I can remember, art was my favorite subject during early years in school. And as young as 7 years old, I am already fascinated with craft articles in magazines, to the extent that I collected clippings, with the thought that I could put my hands on everything instructed in those. Growing up, I progressed to lifestyle TV shows, addicted to all the DIYs.

Back to December 2013. Well, a newbie in Pinterest that time, I got so excited with the inspirations and tutorials galore and found myself hoarding supplies for projects I am dying to do. My craft nook started to take shape. Items made out of duct tape amazed me and I have to have all the colors available. Since the holidays was just around the corner and me being a Christmas person, how can I resist creating festive decorations. I took the challenge of trimming my tree with all "homemade" ornaments. Not only that, the materials should be more or less, recycled or upcycled.

So, to sum it up, that's how my craft nook, like from a seed, was nurtured and had grown into a lush tree. Establish as it is, I can easily craft on something when an urge attack.
